Sterling silver Navajo bracelet set with a beautiful Sonoran Gold turquoise (Arizona).

This unique bracelet is representative of two Native jewelry techniques: 

The setting of the turquoise is typical of Navajo craftsmanship, we can recognize it with the oxidized silver groove and the small cut details that surround the stone. 

The artist has made the setting of the bracelet inspired by the Hopi's Overlay technique. This process includes a background soldered to another like-sized piece with a cutout design. The silver background is then oxidized and scratched to bring out contrast between the two pieces.
